How discovery and sponsorship work

Featured positions are paid advertising. Gretna first ranks Gretna, its nearby communities, the rest of Pittsylvania County, then the wider region. Within each area, results rotate hourly; highlighted profiles receive 1–4× weight according to their paid bid. Ratings, review counts, community votes and names control their own sort options. Each signed-in member can upvote or downvote once per listing, change direction or remove their vote. Votes do not change star reviews or replace reports of a problem. All profiles, including sponsors, must match your filters. Stars summarize approved Junction reviews and are never for sale.

Owner profiles and each offer collection load up to 1,000 published records. Closed offers are excluded when they have a valid end date. Directory profiles and owner profiles can describe the same business.

MAKE THE CONNECTION COUNT

Useful details before the first message.

Use the transaction route built for the item

Farm goods and eligible physical products use the local market with the seller’s published stock and fulfillment choices. Approved downloads and eligible digital services use the digital marketplace. Other published offers can point to a seller’s own booking or purchase destination. Vehicles, property and specialist services need their own checks and written arrangements. A result in this collection is a discovery record; it is not proof of ownership, an appraisal, a reservation or a completed sale.

Make the condition and scope visible

For a used item, describe what a buyer will receive and what has changed through use, repairs or replacement parts. Add your own current photographs and dimensions. Distinguish a maker’s mark from a confirmed attribution, and an asking price from an independent valuation. If an offer belongs to a business, link the public profile so customers can identify the operator. Clear descriptions save time for both sides and make questions easier to answer before anyone travels.

Keep time-limited posts current

Sale announcements need a start time, an end time, a public location and the categories on offer. Use the existing account studio and community posting routes to submit a reviewed listing, then return to your dashboard when details change. Current inventory remains controlled by the seller. Before setting out, confirm the sale or item directly with the operator. The Junction should not be treated as a guarantee that an old description still represents today’s available stock.

Give recurring sellers a home beyond one post

A permanent profile can connect a seller’s story, service area, public contact route and current offers. An eligible annual business page provides a larger space under the existing plan limits. Optional advertising and paid community posts are labeled and have their own terms. They do not buy favorable reviews or replace the checks needed for a listing. Use a partnership opportunity for an actual collaboration proposal with a defined scope, rather than presenting prospective partners as already involved.
