How a booking runs

Unbooked slots carry labeled house promotions. Eligible approved and paid campaigns replace the exact selected slot for the purchased duration, then house creative resumes. Existing active runs are protected.

First-price means the advertiser pays their own selected bid. Higher eligible paid bids run next; submission order breaks ties. This is a paid priority queue, not an auction that discards every losing bid. The duration begins when a booking is first served. A booking does not guarantee a particular future start time, impressions, clicks or sales.

What payment does and does not buy

Advertisements, paid visibility, affiliate relationships and house promotion must be identified at the point readers encounter them. Payment never verifies directory ownership, purchases favorable coverage or controls newsroom corrections.

Advertisers must substantiate claims and honor their published offers. Approval, signed payment status, refund or dispute blocks and other restrictions determine whether a booking can run. Reports describe recorded first-party activity; they are not audited audience guarantees.

Campaign help

Use campaign support for a creative revision, scheduling question or payment problem. Keep changes tied to the booking record. Local businesses in the ordinary directory are not automatically sponsors or partners.

Images, video and permissions

A campaign can include one checked, privately uploaded JPEG, PNG or WebP image, or a supported public YouTube or Vimeo video reference. The exact creative, its rights declaration and image assessment are tied to the saved campaign; a new checkout attempt cannot silently replace an existing booking. Uploaded images must remain eligible before paid display.

Video players load only when a reader chooses them. Provider-hosted video may change or become unavailable; reviewing a link is not a claim that its bytes are permanently preserved. Advertisers must hold appropriate footage, image, music, likeness and brand permissions and keep advertised offers accurate.
