Do not post private addresses, credentials, financial records or medical information. Do not identify children through school routines, precise locations or personal contact details. Obtain permission for interviews, portraits and creative work.
Keep the community safe
Threats, targeted harassment, hateful abuse, sexual exploitation, fraud and instructions for wrongdoing are not acceptable. Use emergency services for immediate danger; this website is not continuously monitored for emergencies.
Take care with history
Discuss slavery, dispossession, segregation and violence accurately and with dignity. Explain who produced a historical record and whose perspective it omits. Do not treat a plantation or public monument as the whole history of the people connected to it.
Publish transparently
Identify advertising, affiliate links and commercial interests. External links, images and embeds need an appropriate rights basis. Do not imply that a named business, church or public agency endorses CrownThrive without evidence.
Review and appeal
Automated screening can route a submission for revision or human review. CIE assesses the content, never the person. Moderators use the same standards for approval, restriction and restoration. Ask the help desk to review a decision with the record URL and a clear reason.
