Community commerce, hosting & rental terms

Effective September 13, 2026. These terms apply alongside our general terms, privacy, creator, advertising and billing policies. CrownThrive, LLC operates Gretna Junction.

Rental agreements and payment timing

A listing or request is an introduction, not a confirmed reservation. The host provides the full agreement, property, dates, tax-inclusive total, cancellation terms, insurance requirements and legally required payment alternatives. The named guest must accept that exact version before opening payment. The host remains responsible for the property, lawful operation, required disclosures, taxes and performance of the agreement.

Online rental payments are direct charges on the host’s verified Stripe Connect merchant account. The platform retains a disclosed 5% application fee from the agreed total; the host also bears Stripe processing fees under their Stripe agreement. Payment occurs when the guest confirms Checkout. A future payment window does not authorize an automatic future debit. Stripe’s payout schedule is not escrow, a trust account, a rental bond or a guarantee of funds or performance.

Hosts must comply with applicable housing, fair-housing, licensing, tax and deposit rules. Virginia residential landlords must provide legally required no-fee and check or money-order payment alternatives. Do not use this general payment workflow for regulated trust funds or security-deposit custody that requires another arrangement. No term waives statutory tenant rights, excuses unlawful conduct or removes a responsibility that applicable law imposes on the platform.

Refunds, cancellations and resolution assistance

The host’s accepted cancellation terms and applicable law govern the rental relationship. Guests can file a private report at the Resolution desk. We can review platform records and offer voluntary assistance; this is not binding arbitration, an insurer’s decision or a substitute for courts, regulators, emergency services or Stripe’s dispute process.

Hosts manage eligible refunds and disputes through their Stripe merchant workspace. A partial refund does not automatically cancel a stay or release dates. A recorded cancellation decision is separate from payment status; canceling dates does not itself issue a refund. Keep the accepted agreement, correspondence and payment references. Do not submit card numbers, government identifiers, medical records or confidential screening documents to the desk.

Annual business-page hosting

Local Page costs $149, Main Street Page $349 and Destination Page $749, plus applicable tax, for 365 days from verified fulfillment. These are prepaid one-time annual terms with no monthly billing or automatic renewal. The plan page identifies section and media allowances. A verified directory claim and an owned profile are required. Only one active or pending annual page may occupy the same directory listing or profile.

This is a limited license to use standardized hosted space. It does not convey the domain, platform software, permanent hosting, exclusivity in a locality, search rank, audience or sales. You retain rights to content you supply and are responsible for its accuracy and permissions. Publication and revisions remain subject to review; payment does not purchase approval. Loss of claim authority can suspend owner-supplied content.

At expiry, the public directory information remains and annual customized sections stop displaying until renewed. Saved owner text remains accessible in the workspace for copying or correction, subject to retention and account rules. If a page cannot be delivered, contact billing for an appropriate remedy under the purchase terms and applicable consumer law. No renewal or upgrade should create overlapping charges.

Platform advertisements are the default on public and leased pages. Destination Page includes eligibility to request an independently verified publisher zone; ownership, provider approval, content and consent requirements must be met before activation. A hosting purchase does not transfer advertising revenue or grant rights to another publisher account. AI writing uses separately funded credits or the expressly included allowance; it is not unlimited.

Community recognition, digital gifts and companions

An adult can submit one free Wall of Love note every seven days. An approved free note displays for seven days; a $10 spotlight plus applicable tax displays for 30 days from approval. The selected town and main wall can show the same permissioned note. A purchase does not guarantee review approval, traffic or an endorsement. A saved unsuccessful review can be revised or retried without a second purchase. Staff can remove prohibited content with a recorded reason; contact Help to appeal.

Use an adult’s permitted public name or an organization’s name. Do not identify children, expose private addresses or imply a personal relationship or endorsement without permission. Owners may withdraw publication permission. Keep photo, music, video and publication permissions separate and attributable.

Digital roses, badges, sticker sheets and companion packs are digital collectibles for the described personal use. They are not cash, investments, transferable currency or redeemable prizes. A gift grants the identified recipient the purchased access; share the gift link yourself. Refund or dispute restrictions apply to the related entitlement. A companion can be fed and played with free of charge; purchases are optional and absence does not harm it. Points have no cash value.

Careers, commissions and partner solicitations

Applications, résumés and partner proposals are private to the applicant and authorized staff. An expression of interest is not an employment offer or an executed contractor agreement. No application fee, paid kit, downline recruitment or earnings guarantee applies. Public job-seeker profiles require a separate deliberate publication step. Job advertisements must identify the hiring employer, proposed worker classification and a good-faith USD wage or salary range with its pay period. Disclose commissions, qualification rules, payment timing and adjustments separately. Do not request salary history or charge applicants to apply. These posting requirements do not establish that a zero-base or contractor arrangement is lawful.

Proposed independent sales opportunities need a written agreement covering actual duties, classification, commission attribution, eligible net receipts, refunds, payout timing, termination and tax reporting before work starts. A commission label or tax form does not determine worker status. Employment arrangements must satisfy applicable wage and overtime duties; telephone or internet sales are not automatically exempt outside-sales work. Connected Stripe onboarding is required before eligible platform commission payouts, but applying does not create a payable commission.

Partner solicitations invite proposals; they do not represent that listed public agencies, businesses, charities, funeral providers, insurers or employers already endorse or partner with us. Do not represent CrownThrive or negotiate on its behalf without written authority. The business desk provides source links and introductions, not licensed legal, accounting, real-estate brokerage or insurance services.

Insurance and regulated referrals

Hosts and guests determine appropriate coverage with a licensed insurer or producer. We do not bind coverage, recommend policy limits, interpret exclusions or promise a claim will be paid. A partner listing does not establish that a policy covers a particular rental or activity. Referral compensation, if any, must be lawful and disclosed; no insurance commission or purchase-contingent compensation is assumed for an unlicensed referral.

The platform does not negotiate leases for others or take a brokerage commission without the required authority and licensing. Its software service fee does not itself establish that a regulated activity is permitted. Regulated services require their own lawful arrangements.

Giving and environmental commitments

Community giving proposals can be prepared privately. Native fundraising collection remains unavailable until Stripe accepts the actual model and relevant beneficiary verification is complete. A Stripe Connect account is required for a recipient before any supported payout, but Connect onboarding alone does not authorize crowdfunding, charitable solicitation or peer-to-peer money transmission. Ordinary readers and donors are not required by Stripe merely to create merchant accounts to make an ordinary card payment.

Support purchases for Gretna Junction are separate from gifts to a neighbor and are not represented as charitable donations. No tax deductibility, raised amount, tree planting, carbon removal or environmental outcome is claimed without applicable evidence. CrownThrive impact commitments must be described accurately and separately from any unverified allocation of a Junction purchase.

Questions, reports and continuity

Use My requests for applications and responses, the Resolution desk for a rental concern, and the tracked Help Center for billing, privacy, rights or accessibility issues. We retain the records needed for service delivery, accounting, fraud prevention, review and disputes under the privacy policy. This page is not a guarantee against all legal or operational risk. Mandatory rights and duties remain intact.
