Vinton: two route days collected Thursday

Vinton's November 5 alert says town offices will close Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Wednesday's and Thursday's refuse, bulk and recycling routes will both be collected Thursday, November 12.

That combined instruction belongs to Vinton; it is not a regional rule.

Victoria: office and DMV Select

Victoria's November 4 notice closes the Town Office and DMV Select Wednesday, November 11, and says they will reopen Thursday, November 12, during regular operating hours. The notice supplies no refuse-route change.

Do not copy the expired Election Day trash adjustment into this Veterans Day notice, or treat a local DMV Select announcement as a statewide DMV schedule.

Rocky Mount: Wednesday solid waste shifts

Rocky Mount's current homepage says solid waste scheduled Wednesday, November 11, will be collected Thursday, November 12. It explicitly says scheduled November 12 collection will not change.

Unlike Vinton's notice, this retrieved summary does not enumerate bulk and recycling services.

Use the source for your own town and service before setting out material or planning an office visit. These notices do not establish emergency-service arrangements, every department's hours or services in neighboring counties.
