Two schedule-change windows

Emporia's official homepage lists a Veterans Day holiday sanitation schedule from Monday, November 9, through Wednesday, November 11. It separately lists a Thanksgiving holiday sanitation schedule from Monday, November 23, through Wednesday, November 25.

The city's office page lists offices closed November 11, closing at noon November 25, and closed November 26 and 27. An office closure is not itself a collection instruction.

Use the route-specific notice

The accessible calendar index did not expose the route-by-route shifts, so this guide does not guess which collection day moves. Open the controlling calendar entry or contact Public Works at 434-634-4500 for the applicable route.

Do not apply Emporia's schedule to Greensville County or another locality. Later city notices control if the dates change.
